Goal Explore the Buddhist
concept of Emptiness through drawing and
painting.
Bio Born and
raised in Hong Kong. Living in Canada.
Taken art classes. Art work is in digital format. |
About My Work My abstract work is an attempt to depict pictorial spaces observed in the work of Picasso and Klee, and in traditional Chinese ink brush paintings, but without referencing the same subjects. I think of drawing as sculpting of pictorial space and assembly of visual parts. I am inspired by logographic writing system and approach drawing as a form of writing. Observe how each drawing comes into being, and anticipate what each drawing could become, is to live the Buddhist concept of Emptiness. My abstract line drawings are Free Cultural Works. They can be freely studied, applied, copied and/or modified, by anyone, for any purpose. They are available for download from my online gallery. |
